The Yorkshire Food and Drink Show, managed in partnership with Johnston Press and the Yorkshire Post, is the centrepiece of Leeds Loves Food in 2012.

A huge array of dozens of local producers, as well as stallholders from across the UK, will all be there to offer something unique for food and drink lovers on Millennium Square from 25th - 27th May 2012.


Exhibitors for this year's Yorkshire Food and Drink Show include:

Adam's and Russell: Coffees are traditionally hand roasted by the coffee roaster who has the expert knowledge to roast every batch of coffee to perfection. Whether a mild medium roasted Brazilian Santos is required or a strong high roasted Java, Adam's and Russell have the facility to provide customers with their own specific needs. Adam's and Russell are also registered as FairTrade Coffee Roasters for certain origins of coffee.

Barry Colenso, Master Chocolatier: Barry Colenso Chocolates are delicious. Created in Derbyshire by Master Chocolatier Barry, who reckons he knows chocolate inside out. He ought to, Barry has been making special chocolates for special people all his working life .Barry was honoured to make the Queen Mother's 85th Birthday cake when he was Chef Patissier at London's Savoy Hotel. Only last year, Barry was chosen to help the McVities Cake Company design and create the chocolate groom cake for the wedding of Kate and William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Bleasdale Ice-Cream: Bleasdale Ice-Cream only use the best quality ingredients. Cream, eggs and sugar form the basis for most of their ice creams, they then add chocolate, real fruit, nuts or a variety of other goodies. Nothing else is added - artificial preservatives, stabilizers, flavourings, gums or colourings.

Brown and Blond:
Brown and Blond specialises in rich, fudgy brownies and blondies (made with white chocolate) using only the finest natural ingredients. The range currently includes more than 30 flavour combinations, from pecan and amaretto to sour cherry and bourbon, but the list of innovative ingredients is growing all the time.

Cherry Tree: The Cherry Tree is a family run business based in the West Country. Since 1997, Cherry Tree have been dedicated to producing the highest quality pickles, chutneys and preserves for you to indulge in and enjoy. Cherry Tree are proud that their products are multi award winners from the prestigious Great Taste and Taste of the West Awards and believe it is the time and love we put into making them that sets them apart. All products are hand cooked in small batches, using only the finest ingredients and following traditional recipes.

Continental Cottage: Authentic German Salami. Also authentic high quality German chocolates from Bavaria- chocolate sticks and various unusual flavours.

Coopers Gourmet Sausage Rolls:
Founded in 2009 by experienced chef and Shropshire Delicatessen owner Ivan Watkiss. Coopers create products using only the best possible ingredients, all with local provenance. Gourmet sausage rolls are made in Shrewsbury and sold at farmers’ markets, delis, farm shops and rural outlets. Once tasted, they are never forgotten.

Crepe Lucette: Sweet and savoury crepes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and flavoured milkshakes (schmoos).

Demijohn: The Liquid Deli, where you can taste the origin. Gift ideas, liqueurs, whisky, wines, other spirits, oils, vinegars, miniatures and much much more.

Dragon Chillies: Dragon Chillies are independent growers with a wealth of chilli growing experience. They nurture the delicate plants to maturity on the farm which means they are not imported like many found in your local supermarkets, this ensures they arrive to you as fresh as possible. Come to Dragon Chillies' stand and feel the fire.

Escobar: Escobar Cantina offers great value, authentic Mexican food in a fun, colourful and lively venue, with fantastic Latin American music, what more do you need for a great night out, plus coming soon we will be introducing our kids menu to make it a real family party destination, in the heart of Leeds. Whether you like your food hot and spicy or simply tasty, then ...Escobar Cantina’s menu has got it covered.

Green Olives: Visit the stand for olives, turkish delights, baklava and nuts.

Fayre By Alley:
Unique Canadian Desserts made in Yorkshire featuring one of Canada's favourite treats, the Nanaimo Bar which is available in many many flavours.

Farmer Copleys: Visit the stand for handmade preserves, pickles and their gorgeous apple juice.

Levanter Fine Food: Levanter Fine Food are a family-run business specialising in bringing the best produce and ingredients from the real Spain to your kitchens. If you’re looking for outstanding chorizo, Serrano, olive oils and vinegars and even ceramics and tableware, Levanter Fine Food have personally tasted, tried and selected all of their products.

Little Round Cake Company: An exciting handmade cake company based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, that specialises in a range of modern bakery, including little round cakes, mini layer cakes (tweeners), giant meringues, tarts and brownies to name but a few.  Going into their third year, Little Round Cake Company have built a fantastic reputation for our delicious range, great value and particularly great event presentation and service energy.

ETruscany:
Over the years ETruscany have been bringing in cheeses, salumi (cured meats) and their own olive oil, exclusively for family and friends back here to London and Yorkshire. Realising just how popular particular products have become, ETruscany have decided to share the favourites with the wider clientele, you will find the finest local produce from the region surrounding home in the heart of Tuscany.

Loopy Lisa's Fudge: Traditional Fudges with a loopy twist. Loopy Lisa's fudges are all handmade; our methods are based on a Women's Institute recipe producing a fudge that regularly gets the comment 'that's just like my Grannie used to make'. Loopy Lisa's Fudge make fudges in much the same way as many Grannies do; they just make lots more of it! So you see, it really is the genuine article - no machines!

Salts Deli: A Leeds based Spanish style delicatessen, creating and selling wonderful food from around the world. Come visit the stand and try tasty treats.

Smoothie Mania: An exciting and modern drink and food bar on Vicar Lane, where you can relax and eat inside or take away. Smoothie Mania also specialise in local breakfast and lunch time delivery for businesses, to an outstanding standard.

Seasoned Solutions Ltd: Seasoned Soultions' vision is to provide, in one place, information to promote the use of local, small, specialist businesses through promoting healthy eating using a limited number of ingredients in a restricted area, such as is found in a caravan, motorhome, boat or tent.

Snapwagon: Vegetarian, vegan food including falafel, soup, home-made cakes and beverages.

Sukothai: Head Chef and owner Ban Kaewkraikhot really knows Thai food. Ban successfully ran her own restaurant in Bangkok for 8 years, which quickly established its self amongst the Bangkok locals as a firm favourite for quality and value. All meals can be cooked according to the customers’ preferred taste (mild to very spicy). Thai food is unique. Please don’t imagine that it’s Chinese with a bite - if you are new to Thai food or an experienced Thai food lover, the Sukhothai menu will be sure to have the right dish for you.

Supreme Sausages: Since its founding in 1989, Supreme Sausages has grown from strength to strength, based on the company's firm attention to detail - quality ingredients being the essential cog in the wheel. : The Gingerbread house specialises in delicious handmade Gingerbread, made to Liz's own traditional gingerbread recipe and baked in our converted farmhouse pantry  using only the freshest spices and the finest ingredients to create beautiful hand made luxury gingerbread houses, gingerbread biscuits and wedding favours.

Wensleydale Brewery: Wensleydale Brewery was founded in 2003 and produces a range of real ales both in casks and bottles. Beers can be found throughout the Dales and beyond and can now be ordered online so that wherever you live you can enjoy unique and delicious beer.
